This apartment in Mumbai suburb measures 1100 square feet. Designed as a family home for an urban couple with a child and their parents, minimalist, clutter free space has been created using a neutral colour palette with colour accents that come with furnishings and accessories. This space was designed and executed in a time frame of two and a half months only. We worked tirelessly with maximum manpower on site and delivered to the full satisfaction of our clients. Not to forget our clients’ trust and cooperation was a big factor in achieving what we had visualised. Originally planned as a 2-bedroom apartment with a study, our clients wanted to convert the study into a bedroom for their 5-year-old son. Noticeably light colour theme was added to this room to keep it visually lighter and get a spacious feel to it. The design revolves around a square and all forms were derived out of a square in this house which is seen from the main door of this apartment. The hallway ends with a pause space created by a screen which forms the highlight in this house. The richness of oak wood finish dictates the material palette of the furniture and the simplicity of minimalistic form adds to its purity.
