Bungalow in Pahalgam, Kashmir

This Bungalow measuring 5000 square feet is proposed in a lush green valley of Pahalgam area in Kashmir. The design philosophy revolves around creating connections between outdoor and indoor spaces so that the beautiful landscape forms a part of the inside space. Local natural materials dictate the palette and amplify the country look.
The ground floor has living areas in different pockets with kitchen , dining and a guest bedroom. The first floor has private spaces like bedrooms, gym and a projector room with a home office at midlanding level.
Visual connection to outside is maintained in all directions through large windows, balconies and transitional spaces.Multiple levels, overlooking spaces, skylights, natural materials , ample lighting and indoor landscape are some key features of this house.

Bungalow in Kashmir

This Bungalow has a very narrow frontage . The plot was linear and narrow in width. The challenge was to create spaces which could still connect to outdoor landscape . Pockets of green spaces have been created to give an inside outside connection throughout the house . A study model was made for the spatial understanding using Lego blocks and our clients absolutely loved the design
