Role & Responsibilities

• Knowledge dissemination amongst academicians and practitioners through events and seminars
• Active participation in conferences, teachers’ training programs and workshops
• Develop innovative approach to education by devising new methodologies
• Undertake research, seminars and prepare reference manuals for teaching as key member of Research Cell
• Research guide for students of Design Dissertation for B. Arch Thesis
• Lead Architectural Design Studios, design project briefs and schedule the deliverables
• Plan, coordinate and schedule course curriculum as per University guidelines
• Evaluate as external juror for design dissertation of students from various colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai
• Evaluate and conduct viva as external juror for Third Year , Fourth Year & Fifth year B. Arch. students
• Accompany students on international exchange programs, study tours and site visits to facilitate learning outside studios
• Incorporate global approach to learning among students through the use of technology
• Design head for graphics and publication team at Rizvi College of Architecture
• As a member of grievance cell amicably resolve all issues and differences arising from subjective teaching methodologies
• Document students’ problems affecting their architectural studies, and raise them on parent student association meetings
• Provide professional crisis intervention to students to help them overcome difficulties
• Observe and evaluate students’ performance, behavior, social development, mental and physical health
• Help students adjust to the school environment and improve their personal, social and behavioral aspects
• Encourage students to pursue careers in architecture to help the country establish strength in design
